NPRA’s suspension of SSNIT-Rock City deal only an initial victory – Ablakwa

North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has praised the National Pensions Regulatory Authority's (NPRA) suspension of SSNIT's controversial sale of stakes in four hotels as an "initial victory."

The NPRA halted the sale to properly evaluate related documents, following a protest at Labadi Beach Hotel against the proposed sale of a 60% stake in the hotels.

Ablakwa emphasized the need for a full cancellation of the sale, not just a suspension, and praised national unity in achieving this progress.

He urged the NPRA to ensure a thorough investigation and final halt of the sale, warning against any underhanded reactivation of the deal.
