NSS releases April arrears following strike by personnel

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released arrears for April following a nationwide strike declaration by the Concerned National Service Scheme Personnel Association of Ghana (CONSPAG) on July 3, 2024.

The strike was due to unpaid allowances affecting their livelihoods.

In response, the National Executive Council of the National Service Personnel Association announced that April payments have been made and will reflect in personnel accounts by July 5, 2024.

May allowances are also expected to be paid soon. Personnel are urged to remain calm as outstanding issues are addressed.
