The President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), Daniel Oppong Kyeremeh, has vowed to keep the union free from political influence, ensuring it remains focused on students' interests.
In an interview, Kyeremeh acknowledged that past political infiltration had weakened the union's ability to advocate effectively.
He emphasized that his administration is committed to maintaining the union's independence and holding the Ministry of Education accountable.
As NUGS elections approach, Kyeremeh aims to steer the union toward being a truly student-centered body, free from political distractions.
