Nana Aba questions polls favouring Mahama

Media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has questioned the credibility of election polls by Global InfoAnalytics, which favor former President John Mahama in Ghana’s 2024 general elections.

In a post on X, she criticized the representativeness of the 2,600-sample size, arguing it cannot adequately reflect the views of over 18 million voters.

Global InfoAnalytics founder Mussa K. Dankwah defended the methodology, explaining the sample size ensures a 95% confidence level with a 1.9% margin of error.

He emphasized that such calculations are standard in polling.

Nana Aba, however, remained skeptical, arguing that statistical sufficiency does not guarantee representativeness, urging more scrutiny of the sampling process.
