The National Tenants Union of Ghana (NATUG) has endorsed the housing policies of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after evaluating proposals from various political parties.
NATUG praised the NDC’s plan to create an independent Rent Authority and introduce low-interest rent advance schemes.
They criticized the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) housing promises as “recycled and unfulfilled.”
NATUG urged the NDC to fully implement its policies if elected and pledged to hold John Mahama’s administration accountable for these promises during the 2025-2028 period.
This endorsement boosts the NDC’s appeal among tenants and those seeking affordable housing solutions.
