Nigel Gaisie takes on Peace Council for ‘being active only during elections’

A meeting between the National Peace Council and prophets in the Greater Accra Region became contentious when Prophet Nigel Gaisie, founder of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries, criticized the Council for its selective activism.

He highlighted the Council's silence on significant issues like the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence and the Techiman election killings.

Gaisie urged the Council to be more proactive, arguing that peace requires consistent and broad-based efforts.

In response, the Council's Chairman, Rev. Dr. Ernest Adu Gyamfi, addressed Gaisie's concerns.

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams also advised prophets and politicians ahead of the upcoming elections.
