Nkawkaw MP desilts choked gutters to curb flooding

Residents of Kwaku Dwira, a suburb of Nkawkaw in the Kwawu West Municipality, have faced persistent flooding during the rainy season.

To address this, Member of Parliament Joseph Frempong provided an excavator to desilt the clogged gutters, aiming to prevent future flooding.

In an interview, Frempong emphasized the importance of maintaining clear gutters and urged residents to avoid dumping rubbish.

The community expressed gratitude for his support, recalling past floods that claimed lives.

They are hopeful that the desilting efforts will mitigate flooding during the rainy season.
