No pregnant protester was arrested, reports completely false – Police

The Ghana Police Service has denied reports that Gloria Vera Louise, a protester arrested during the Democracy Hub demonstration, is pregnant.

Medical examinations from independent facilities confirmed she is not pregnant, contrary to earlier claims.

The police stated there were no visible signs of pregnancy at the time of her arrest, and her lawyers did not inform the court of any such condition during the bail hearing.

Additionally, Grace Asantewaa has been charged with exposing a child to danger during the demonstration, as police apprehended 54 protesters from September 21 to 23.
