Nobody can stage a coup in Ghana, it's not possible - Allotey Jacobs

Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress [NDC], Bernard Allotey Jacobs has described as ‘laughable’ claims that some persons want to stage a coup in the country.

He insisted on PEACE FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 that 'Ghana now is beyond coup', adding that – 'coup is not possible in Ghana'.

The now Social Commentator was however quick to say that, “but the police shouldn’t relax” – after been optimistic that putsch is not possible in Ghana.

His comment comes after two senior police officers, a soldier, a doctor and some civilians are standing trial for their alleged attempt to stage a coup.
