O’Reilly student murder: Deceased to be buried on October 18

The family of O’Reilly student Edward Bortey Sackey, who was murdered by a schoolmate, has scheduled his funeral for October 18, 2024.

His father, Enock Bortey Sackey, made this decision following updates on the case at the La District Court.

Prosecutor Paul Osei Adjei reported that the case docket has been sent to the Attorney-General’s office for further processing.

The judge emphasized to the family the importance of maintaining pressure on the police for progress.

The accused, Godwin Mawuli, remains in custody, with the case adjourned until October 21, 2024.
