ORAL to picket at Finance Ministry over questionable SML and ambulance procurement contracts

Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), an advocacy group, plans to picket at the Ministry of Finance on September 4, 2024, demanding transparency regarding the Strategic Mobilisation Limited (SML) contract and the national ambulance deal.

ORAL claims that the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) entered into the SML contract without proper approvals, as revealed in a KPMG audit report.

The group also raises concerns about potential inflated costs in the national ambulance procurement process.


ORAL is calling for investigations and urges civil society to join their protest to ensure accountability in public financial management.
