NDC Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande announced that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and 58 other ministers will be prosecuted if the NDC wins in 2025, potentially leading to jail terms.
Gbande claimed that these officials caused Ghana’s economic crisis through corruption and mismanagement, contrasting it with what he described as a resilient economy under former President John Mahama in 2016.
He alleged that some officials diverted state funds for personal use, including storing money at private residences.
Gbande insisted the stolen funds should have supported development and warned that public unrest might follow if NDC fails to act against these individuals.
