Okada riders laud Mahama’s promise over hire-purchase electric motorbikes

The Okada Riders Association of Ghana has praised NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama's pledge to establish an electric motorbike assembly plant if he wins the 2024 elections.

Speaking to motor riders in Ashaiman, Mahama promised to provide electric motorbikes on a hire-purchase basis and mentioned ongoing discussions with two assembly companies.

Michael Kofi Owusu, the Association's National President, expressed confidence in Mahama’s commitment, contrasting it with unfulfilled promises from the current Vice President.

He highlighted the use of electric motorbikes in other countries and affirmed belief in Mahama’s ability to enhance their operations.
