Okaikwei North MP Theresa Awuni accused of ‘stealing’ GNPC-funded school project

Tensions are rising in Okaikwei North as residents accuse MP Theresa Awuni of wrongly claiming credit for a school project funded by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

The project, aimed at improving educational infrastructure in Alogboshie, was initiated by her predecessor, Fuseini Issah, during his time as MP.

Despite Issah’s efforts to bring the project to the area, Awuni is now being accused of presenting it as her achievement ahead of the December election.

Locals demand transparency and credit for Issah’s role in the development, calling Awuni’s actions misleading.
