Opoku Ware Ampomah’s tenure as Korle Bu CEO ends, Owusu Sekyere takes over

The Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Board has announced that Dr. Opoku Ware Ampomah’s term as CEO ends on October 5, 2024.

Dr. Frank Owusu Sekyere, Director of Medical Affairs, will serve as interim CEO starting October 6.

The Board praised Dr. Ampomah, a respected Consultant Plastic Surgeon, for his contributions to the hospital's growth and his leadership at the National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre.

His efforts in improving healthcare services have left a lasting impact on Korle Bu and the broader medical community.
