Osofo Kyiri Abosom slams Owusu Bempah for endorsing Mahama

Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom and founder of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), has criticized Prophet Owusu Bempah for endorsing John Dramani Mahama ahead of the December elections.

He labeled Owusu Bempah as a hypocrite, claiming the prophet's shift in allegiance is due to his disappointment in President Akufo-Addo, who allegedly failed to build him a promised church in 2020.

Kyiri Abosom accused Owusu Bempah of being "selfish" and using religion for personal gain.

This criticism follows Owusu Bempah’s recent endorsement of Mahama, where he anointed the former president as Ghana’s next leader, despite previously supporting the NPP in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
