The Public Accounts Committee has instructed Richard Okyere-Fosu, Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA), to return with more comprehensive documentation regarding a $16 million service contract with Smart Infraco Limited.
The committee, led by James Klutse Avedzi, found Okyere-Fosu's initial responses unsatisfactory.
They have requested detailed documents including letters, proposals, value-for-money reports, contracts, and invoices related to the Smart Infraco deal.
Okyere-Fosu will be given a new date to submit these documents and appear before the committee.
