PAC refutes allegations of bribery

James Klutse Avedzi, Chairman of Parliament's Public Accounts Committee, has denied allegations of bribery within the committee.

In response to claims in Manasseh Awuni Azure's book, The President Ghana Never Got, which suggested some MPs accept bribes to influence cases, Avedzi asserted he does not engage in such practices.

He acknowledged that the committee's referrals to the Attorney General’s Office had not been communicated until recently due to parliamentary delays.

Avedzi emphasized that while such allegations persist, he personally upholds fairness and transparency.
