The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ascension Congregation in Koforidua in the Eastern Region baptised 35 children at the Christmas church service.
The baptism was performed by the District Pastor, Rev Dr Kofi Amfo-Akonnor.
He advised parents to nurture their children with the word of God so that they would have faith in God.
The District Pastor advised parents to befriend their children and encouraged them to be disciples and be truthful wherever they go.
Dr Amfo-Akonnor, in his Christmas message, urged Ghanaians to plant peace in their hearts and be truthful in all they do so that the country would continue to enjoy peace.
He explained that in a nation, where there is no peace, development is stagnant and called on all to live at peace with each other and help protect the peace, promote equity and happiness of others.
He said Christmas was a time for giving and therefore urged the congregation to share what they had with the poor and the needy.
