Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged to combat corruption rigorously if elected.
At his Governance Forum on October 31, he outlined plans to investigate major scandals, including the PDS, Agyapa Royalties, and the COVID-19 expenditure issues, utilizing both local and international expertise.
Mahama proposed legislation to prevent political appointees from buying state assets and emphasized the establishment of a state assets registrar.
He reiterated the need for transparency and accountability, promising to restore good governance and uphold human rights. Mahama called for unity among Ghanaians to hold corrupt officials accountable.
