Charles Owusu, CEO of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, has assured that compensation will be paid to Nzema communities impacted by the Petroleum Hub Project.

Farmers, landowners, and communities in Nyamenle Kwame Ellowule, Bokakole Nkwanta, Asempaye, and Old Kabenla Suazo will receive compensation before the project's construction begins. The communities are seeking a renegotiation of the 20,000-acre land acquisition.

The project, backed by a $12 billion agreement with the TCP-UIC Consortium, aims to create 780,000 jobs and transform Ghana's energy sector.

Owusu confirmed thorough engagement with the affected communities, ensuring fair compensation and addressing their concerns.
