Police arrest 3 suspects in University of Energy and Natural Resources robbery

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects linked to a robbery involving students and lecturers from the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

The incident occurred on the Odomase-Badu road in the Sunyani West Municipality on April 16, 2024.

According to a police source, the arrests were made through police intelligence, and investigations are ongoing.

Several mobile phones and other valuables were recovered from the suspects.

During the robbery, one student, Abdul Aziz Issah, was killed, and six others were injured but have since been treated and discharged.
