The Ghana Police Service have arrested members of the Ghana Action Network (GAN) during a protest at Revolution Square, commemorating the June 4 revolution.
The group had notified the police beforehand, but were still arrested. At least three members were detained and refused to give a caution statement without their lawyers present.
The #Fixthecountry movement has condemned the arrests and demanded the members' release.
The June 4 revolution was a military uprising in 1979 led by Jerry John Rawlings, protesting corruption and bad governance.
