Police begin probe into accident at East Legon

The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into a fatal accident in East Legon, Accra, over the weekend that claimed two lives.

According to preliminary findings, the driver, Salifu Amoako, crashed his vehicle into another on Dzanie Ashie Street, causing both cars to catch fire and burn completely.

The driver and other survivors are receiving medical care, with one already treated and discharged.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the morgue for preservation and autopsy as the investigation continues.
