The Police Administration has given clearance for Wednesday’s demonstration by the Ghana First Patriotic Front against the Ghana-US military pact.

Police in a statement on the eve of the event and released by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command has assured the public of maximum security during the protest billed for tomorrow.

The statement thus entreated the protesters to stick to the agreed routes, adding “No splinter demonstrations or acts intended to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the demonstration will be tolerated”

Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Asiedu Nketia has said the arrest of Koku Anyidoho will serve as a stimulus for its members to mass up for the protest.

Mr. Anyidoho who is the deputy general secretary of the NDC was picked up by the Police Tuesday afternoon following his declaration that there will be a civil coup to remove President Akufo-Addo following Parliament’s ratification of the controversial Military agreement.
