The Ghana Police Service has issued guidelines for the National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s upcoming nationwide demonstration against the Electoral Commission (EC).
At a press conference on September 16, the police emphasized peaceful and lawful conduct, with demonstrators required to follow designated routes and timelines.
The protest, sparked by the EC's rejection of an audit of the voter register, must not involve violence or property damage.
Security personnel will be deployed to maintain order, and the police warned that any damage to property may result in surcharges for those responsible.
