Propaganda against my husband upsets me - Mrs Akufo-Addo

Wife of New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate, Rebeca Akufo-Addo says “terrible propaganda” against her husband sometimes gets her troubled and frustrated.

Although Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo admits she gets hurt by the incessant criticisms and condemnations of her husband, she has been thought how to “take it in her stride”.

Read full articlethe Nation” show about Nana Akufo-Addo’s political career, she stressed her husband’s vast political experience would propel him to victory, despite the “terrible propaganda” being employed by his opponents.

“Nana Addo is a seasoned politician and he knows the kind of criticism comes with the territory so he handles it very well and he has actually thought me as well.”

“I know at times it can be painful and very upsetting to see or to hear what people come up with about him”.

“People who hardly know him, would come out and say very nasty things about him all because of politics and I must say our politics is degenerating into really bad state of affairs.”

“People come up with terrible propaganda, just to win political points,” she said.
