The Public Services Workers' Union (PSWU) has suspended its strike following a directive from the National Labour Commission (NLC).
The NLC instructed the union to halt the action to facilitate negotiations with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission regarding demands for specific allowances.
PSWU General Secretary Bernard Adjei confirmed that members will return to work on Monday, October 28, with negotiations set to resume next week.
Adjei emphasized the importance of communication and warned that actions could have consequences, assuring that the union will protect its members' interests.
