Pwalugu Dam: 5.21km access road to construction site is a donkey path, not road – Bawa

Edward Bawa, MP for Bongo has criticized the 5.21km access road to the Pwalugu Dam construction site, calling it unmotorable.

This critique follows GIDA's statement clarifying that part of the $12 million paid to PowerChina for the project included road construction.

Bawa disputed this, describing the route from Sariba to Kpasenkpe as a mere pathway, unfit for its intended use.

He asserted that the road is incomplete, contradicting claims of its construction.

Bawa's remarks highlighted concerns over the project's execution and the quality of infrastructure provided, emphasizing the need for proper road development to support the dam project.
