Edward Bawa, MP for Bongo, is demanding the prosecution of those responsible for the stalled Pwalugu Multipurpose Irrigation Dam project, which was commissioned in 2019 and expected to be completed within 50 months.
During a visit to the site, the Minority Caucus in Parliament expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress.
In an interview with Citi News, Bawa emphasized the need for accountability regarding the $12 million allocated for the project, highlighting the absence of any work done and calling for the retrieval of the funds and prosecution of those involved.
