Rastafari Council in Ghana to host celebration

The Rastafari Council, Ghana, will celebrate the 132nd birthday of Emperor Haile Selassie I on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Rising Phoenix, Akuma Village, Accra.

The event promises vibrant music, culture, and speeches, featuring performances by artists such as Konkarah Jah Vybes and DJs Nature Wan and Ras Nene.

MCs Culture B and Ruff Ringo will host, while guest speakers Djabi, Jah Gold, Empress Safy, and Daddy Bosco will discuss Haile Selassie I's legacy.

Special guests include Stuart Brown aka African Star and Black Santino. The event, starting at 6:00 pm, is free and open to the public.
