In a statement released on October 17, the NRSA reported that accidents over the past month have claimed 30 lives and left many injured.

Notable incidents occurred in locations including Obretema, East Legon, and Kwapia.

To combat this trend, the NRSA plans to conduct a multi-stakeholder investigation into the Kwapia crash, emphasizing the legal driving age of 18 and urging parents to take responsibility.
