The Ghana Federation of Traders, comprising eight groups, has demanded the government reduce the exchange rate from GH¢15 to GH¢10 to prevent their businesses from collapsing.

Federation Chairman Eric Kwaku Boateng warned of a nationwide protest if the issue isn't addressed within two weeks, highlighting how the cedi's depreciation severely impacts their capital and business operations.

Boateng stresses the urgent need for government intervention to stabilize the cedi and support traders.
