Concerned residents of Kpone in the Greater Accra Region are protesting the long-neglected state of their roads.
The 17-kilometer Kpone-Dawhenya road, which began construction four years ago, remains incomplete with no contractors in sight.
Residents from Community 25, Prampram, Dawhenya, Devtraco, and surrounding areas complain that the poor road conditions are severely affecting their businesses, health, and daily lives.
Lead organizer Frana Abay-Wuni has called on the Minister for Roads and Highways to explain the halt in construction and take immediate action.
The residents threaten more protests if their demands are not met.
