The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has detailed the costs for six service providers contracted to cover the 13th African Games.
The breakdown includes €2,056,534 for PGS, $1,000,000 for Quality Media Productions S.L., €57,030 for Silicon Productions, $105,000 for GBC’s own channel support, and $20,000 for Positive Communication.
GBC had sought Ministry approval for these contracts and expected funding for the invoices.
The Sports Ministry clarified that it paid GBC a total of $3.6 million—$2.5 million directly to GBC and $1 million to third parties.
This follows discrepancies between the Ministry's claim of $3 million and GBC’s report of receiving $105,000, which led to public confusion and demands for transparency.
