The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has called for the dissolution and review of the National Schools Inspectorate Agency (NASIA), citing its failure to upgrade school infrastructure and maintain standards despite collecting fees from private schools.
NAGRAT President Angel Carbonu criticized NASIA for not collaborating with teacher unions and failing to fulfill its mandate.
He also urged the Ministry of Education to recruit qualified educationists for NASIA.
Carbonu emphasized the need for an immediate review of NASIA’s operations to ensure the agency achieves its intended purpose and effectively addresses educational challenges.
