SSNIT confirms decision to end Hotel Sale process to Organised Labour

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has terminated the sale of its 60% shares in four hotels to Rock City Hotel, owned by Agriculture Minister Bryan Acheampong.

This decision was communicated to Organised Labour after they threatened a nationwide strike starting July 15.

In a letter dated July 14, SSNIT Board Chairperson Elizabeth Akua Ohene confirmed the termination and reassured pensioners of the Trust's commitment to prudent management.

SSNIT emphasized its dedication to ensuring the sustainability of the pension scheme for the benefit of all contributors and the public.
