The Head pastor of Royal House Chapel Reverend Sam Korankye Ankrah has backtracked on his comment that sought to suggest that the founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, Reverend Obofour and the founder and leader of the International Godsway Church Bishop Daniel Obinim need to be killed for deceiving their congregations to make cash.

He also denied ever describing the two pastors as fraudsters who display their wealth because they are ignorant and want to attract attention.

Preaching to his congregation in a video which was sighted and published by MyNewsGh.com, Rev Korankye Ankrah said, ‘‘When one person buys a car another buys in reply and they are boasting, exchanging words to show who is richer, but some literate lawyers don’t even have Tico. When you get it through cheap means, manipulations, prostitution, you want people to feel that you haven’t lost anything. So the only way is to speak big and get attention for yourself, God says they deserve to die for misleading their followers to destruction. They need to be killed according to the dictates of Moses’ law’.

But in a reaction the Royal House Chapel in a statement signed by its Director of Administration Pastor Dzifa Gakpleazi, it said, ‘The Apostle General completely disassociates himself from the publications’.

The statement further said, ‘As a man of God, he will continue in his divine mandate of stirring up revival and transformation in the body of Christ, which may include drawing attention to charlatans operating under the guise of Christianity. This is a cause that any well-meaning Ghanaian should support’.
