Sehwi basic school closes down due to ritual activities

Sefwi Adupri Basic School has been temporarily closed due to recurring rituals performed by unidentified individuals on the premises.

The school shares a compound with the Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound, where similar rituals have caused alarm.

Assistant Headteacher Rebecca Manson highlighted the lack of action from town elders and mentioned that Headmaster Solomon Nartey has informed the Education Directorate.

CHPS deputy Faustina Mensah also expressed fear and urged intervention. Unit Committee Chairman Kwasi Boadu confirmed the incidents and assured that discussions with health and education directors are ongoing to resolve the issue.
