Some communities are facing challenges due to a lack of rubbish bins, leading to improper disposal methods like burying or burning waste, especially plastic.

Fishermen in Osu, Accra, have resorted to burying plastic waste on the shores due to the absence of waste collection services and bins.

However, experts stress the need for proper waste management, urging people to be intentional about disposing of their waste responsibly to maintain a clean environment and prevent diseases.
