Some members regret voting ‘skirt and blouse’ in 2020 - Cape Coast North NPP chair

The Chairman for Cape Coast North Constituency of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Stephen Kojo Arhin has disclosed that members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency have regretted voting “skirt and blouse” in the last presidential and parliamentary elections.

“Some of the party activists and constituents made a confession to me that they voted skirt and blouse due to undisclosed reasons but they have bitterly regretted that action which betrayed the party” the NPP executive disclosed

Mr. Kojo Arhin who is known in politics as Wewebi revealed this to the media shortly after the Cape Coast North Constituency delegates’ conference where he promised to initiate an old folks foundation to support the aged in the party and other party activists financially to wipe their sweat.

He said the massive skirt and blouse voting during the 2020 presidential and Parliamentary elections has not affected only President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but Cape Coast North Constituents themselves.

To this end, he revealed that he has rebuilt the party within Cape Coast North by opening Bank accounts for all the 15 electoral areas out of his own resources to enable the party to quickly mobilize resources for its activities without relying on national or regional funds in order to win back what it lost in the last polls.

According to Wewebi, due to his commitment, financial support and hard work, he has also been able to secure permanent jobs for the youth in state institutions
