Many have praised the Ga Traditional Council, for their ability to implement a ban on noise, that happens annually ahead of the Homowo Festival.

Our radios and social media have been awash with discussions and submissions of Ghanaians who are experiencing peace and quiet, wishing for continued peace and quiet or simply can't believe how quiet their streets are.

As yesterday was International children's day, it is only customary that we give the kids a voice. Discussing the Ban on noise on Joy News Tv's "News Generation" show, were Pupils from Soul Clinic International School.

The pupils proved to be a real mixed bag, as they shared their different opinions and understandings of the subject matter.

Speaking to a Director of the school, he highlighted the importance of routinely giving children a voice.
