Stonebwoy sues Baba Sadiq for defamation

Afro-dancehall artist SLivingstone Etse Satekla, professionally known as Stonebwoy, has sued aspiring politician and entertainment critic Sadiq Abdulai Abu (Baba Sadiq) over defamatory comments on X (formerly known as Twitter.

In the writ filed on May 31, 2024, Stonebwoy demands that Sadiq delete the offending tweets, issue an unqualified apology, and pay GHS 3 million in damages for reputational harm.

The tweets accused Stonebwoy of being a violent female abuser, which contradicts his advocacy for women's rights.

Stonebwoy’s legal action aims to protect his reputation, reflecting his commitment to vindicating his rights against malicious falsehoods.
