The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has advised Senior High School heads to allow students to seek external medical care when needed.
This follows a court ruling that Achimota School must pay GH¢600,000 in damages for negligence in the death of student Kervin Kofi Moses eight years ago.
NAGRAT President Angel Carbonu emphasized that school staff are not medical professionals and should not prevent students from receiving medical attention.
He stressed the importance of referring students to competent healthcare professionals to determine their health status.
