Stop indoctrinating students with your political ideologies – Afenyo-Markin to teachers

Effutu MP Alexander Afenyo-Markin has urged local teachers to avoid imparting their political ideologies to students ahead of the 2024 December polls, warning that it creates divisiveness and acrimony in schools.

Speaking during a laptop distribution event for teachers, Afenyo-Markin emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy debate atmosphere and discouraged political indoctrination of students.

He also highlighted the need for teachers to utilize technological tools effectively and to leverage resources like local libraries to enhance their educational efforts, especially in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
