Stop sabotaging economy through misinformation – Majority to Minority

The Majority in Parliament has accused the minority caucus of sabotaging the economy through misinformation, driving away investors.

The minority, on the other hand, is concerned about the government's alleged violation of the Public Financial Management Act, particularly regarding the Kasoa-Winneba highway project.

The Minority Leader questioned the funding source for the project.

The Majority dismissed these accusations, stating not all contracts need parliamentary approval.

They urged the minority to argue on facts and not mislead the public, especially in an election year. The Majority also advised against hoarding dollars, emphasizing the government's efforts to stabilize the cedi.
