Suhuyini slams Bawumia for being unaware about the probe into killing of 8 in 2020 polls

Tamale North MP Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini has criticized Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his response to questions about the 2020 election violence that led to eight deaths.

Suhuyini expressed disappointment in Bawumia's apparent lack of knowledge and interest in the investigation, particularly given his role as Chairman of the Ghana Police Council.

He described Bawumia’s response as "embarrassing and irresponsible," accusing him of failing to show accountability and concern for the victims.

Suhuyini argued that the Vice President's handling of the issue undermined the intended impact of his recent media encounter.
