Read full articlethe event did their very best to make the event a success, there is more room for improvement especially with respects to the line of questioning from some journalists.
In an interview with Ghana Web, some concerned citizens said most questions asked during the event were nothing to write home about.
According to them, it was one of the key platforms they could have utilized in quizzing the President directly on more pressing issues concerning the country.
Most journalists directed their questions towards agriculture and national security which are very important but failed to address sanitation, health and education.
A commuter said: “I wasn’t quite impressed with the questions they asked, there are a lot of issue in the country we expected them to ask the president but it looked like they were there to have fun with the president”.
Another commuter added, “Just a few asked relevant questions but some of the questions they asked weren’t necessary, especially telling the president that he was looking fresh.”
A total of 20 journalists asked questions on various issues and sectors.
The President assumed office on January 7, 2017. The first media encounter was held in July 2017.
