The President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, has refuted allegations from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, who accused him of publicly supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Nketiah argued that such partisanship undermines the neutrality expected of the House of Chiefs.
In a strong response, Ogyeahoho Gyebi urged Nketiah to present evidence in court if he believed there was any truth to these claims.
He stressed that the Supreme Court provides guidelines for traditional leaders to prevent political involvement, inviting Ghanaians to share any proof if found.
