Kwesi Atta, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's driver, who died in an accident at Bunso, has been laid to rest at Gomoa Kweikrom in the Central Region.
The accident, which occurred while returning from the funeral of the late Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah, resulted in Atta's death and injuries to three others.
The funeral was attended by Central Regional Minister Justina Marigold Assan, NPP parliamentary candidate Kojo Asamanyi, military officers, and presidential staffers. Atta, 50, leaves behind a wife and six children.
The government has promised scholarships for his children and support for his widow.
